Spaying and Neutering
Pets are like family!
Did you know that spaying or neutering your pet prevents health problems? It does! In females the risk of developing uterine or ovarian cancer is eliminated. The risk of developing mammary (breast) cancer is greatly reduced. In males the risk of testicular cancer is eliminated and the incidence of prostate problems decreases. The best part for you will be eliminating all those unwanted behavior problems.
Intact male dog's tend to be more aggressive. They also have a tendency to wonder off or escape form the yard. Intact male cats fight with other cats. Male cats also spray a foal odor marking their territory. Intact female dogs have long heat cycles where they bleed often for 3 weeks at a time. Intact female cats scream and cry incessantly trying to attract the males.
